2013 Year end

As I sit here on Christmas eve, and look over what I’ve done this year I realize I’ve not blogged anywhere near as much as I said I would. Beacuse of this, I’m really going to try my best to blog at least once a month in 2014, and if I don’t then feel free to shout at me on twitter via @shawty_ds

So what have I learned this year…. well technology wise I’ve really got stuck back into using non .NET tools.

Dang is it 2012 already?

So here I am again, starting off yet another post, with the phrase “Yes I am still Here” 🙂 which seems to be the norm these days.

As some of you have noticed, I didn’t even get round to doing my year end wrap up this year, but there was a good reason for that. This year for the first time in ages I actually got a full 3 weeks or so to myself, and boy did I need to de-compress.

Upcoming Lidnug Events

Hello Hello Hello….

Ok so it’s yet not another Technical post I know, I apologise and I will get something interesting done soon, I promise….

In the meantime I just wanted to update people on the latest happenings with Lidnug.

First off we have a new member on the team, David Haney. David recently did an MVC3 session for us, and his all round knowledge in .NET and ASP is awesome so I hope you’ll join me in welcoming him to the team.

UK PDC Part 2

So what went down this year then?

Well lot’s of things really, there was the usual feast of technical goodness that Microsoft and the UK Developer Evangelism team so graciously provided, and there was an absolute mountain of Pizza, that had to be replenished with new stock mid way through (Man us geek’s can’t half eat) there was the usual minor hiccups when technology and video feeds decided they wanted to play their own game, and well the general atmosphere that usually surrounds these events.
